  18. Gerhard is precisely correct!!  In my varied capacities as coordinator of
  19. another CTAN host, chair of TUG's Technical Working Group on TeX Archive
  20. Guidelines, TeX user, TUG Board member, member of TUG's Executive Committee
  21. (or any other even quasi-official TeX-related capacity which slips my mind
  22. at the moment), please allow me to extend my warmest gratitude to DANTE for
  23. their far-sighted and far-reaching participation in the Comprehensive TeX
  24. Archive Network.  The performance and access of DANTE's new dedicated
  25. server at Heidelberg provides a vast improvement over the much-appreciated
  26. but terribly overburdened generic server at Stuttgart.

  28. It's obviously going to take some time getting used to saying "DANTE" or
  29. "Heidelberg" instead of "Stuttgart" and there are going to be occasions
  30. where the terms are mis-applied (some of Aston and Heidelberg's
  31. informational files still point to Stuttgart!; I just edited mine to
  32. reflect the change, but I probably wouldn't have had I not seen your post). 
  33. A little gentle prodding and correcting will certainly be in order to get
  34. people to use the proper site or reference name, and I feel confident that
  35. references will be changed as quickly as they are pointed out.
